Nairobi In Love EP is a heartfelt project by Vijana Barubaru, a dynamic music duo from Kenya. Released on February 7, 2025, this eight-track EP serves as a tribute to love and urban romance, blending Afro-pop and R&B influences to capture the essence of relationships in Nairobi.
The EP features collaborations with renowned Kenyan artists such as Sanaipei Tande, Okello Max, and the emerging duo Watendawili, enriching the project with diverse musical styles. Notably, the remix of “Liwe Liwalo” includes vocals from Sanaipei Tande, adding a fresh dimension to the original track.
Each song delves into different facets of love, from the excitement of new relationships to the challenges of enduring commitment. Tracks like “Amanda” and “Ololufe” showcase Vijana Barubaru’s ability to craft relatable stories through their music, resonating with listeners across East Africa.
