Dubbed the “Samsung” song due to the phrase “cang sang” (沧桑) in the chorus, which sounds like “Samsung” to non-Chinese speakers, the melancholic tune has become the backdrop for hilarious memes.
One viral video reimagines the lyrics in English as, “All men cheat, some choose to cheat via Samsung,” sparking millions of views. Even Samsung Nordics joined in, humorously replying, “Via what? Excuse me?!” proving once again TikTok’s power to turn old songs into global sensations.
