Young Afrobeats star, Rema continues to spread the African music movement all over the world and has notched his belt with yet another achievement in India with his smash hit, Calm Down.

The Rave And Roses originator clinched a new record after his Calm Down single sold 60 thousand units in India which is equivalent to 12 million streams. This has resulted in the singer being eligible for a Gold certification from the most reputable recording industry in the country; the Indian Music Industry.

Some days ago, Calm Down had also peaked on the Indian Charts at number 19, with Rema himself tweeting a screenshot of the charts with the statement, “That sound in the ‘Indian Charts’ ?✌?”. Adding to the Calm Down streak, the video had likewise, made a new record of being the fastest Afrobeats video to hit 200million views.
