The late Marco Joseph, a gifted singer from the renowned Zabron Singers Group, was known for his uplifting Swahili gospel songs. His music left a lasting impact, with one of his tracks even becoming an anthem during President William Ruto’s 2022 campaign. Three years ago, Marco released the song TOFAUTI, which further showcased his unique talent and devotion to his faith.

Sadly, Marco passed away on a Wednesday night while receiving treatment at the Jakaya Kikwete Heart Institute (JKCI) in Dar es Salaam. His death, confirmed by fellow group member Japhet Zabron, was caused by a sudden heart attack that struck the previous Sunday. Marco’s passing marked a heartbreaking moment for his family, friends, and the Zabron Singers, his legacy lives on through his music.
