We’re not saying that Charli XCX laddering her tights on the wing of a passenger plane was on our XCX Angels online bingo card for BRAT-era Charli, but we’re here for it.

Porter Robinson’s Cheerleader takes an alternative route with its quirky visuals. The video combines anime and Peter (sometimes almost in anime form). It’s a quirky video, that’s for sure. One standout scene is when cheerleaders perform a complex routine in what appears to be a neon-lit futuristic stadium. It’s pretty cool to watch. The choreography involves some gravity-defying special effects moves. It’s tricky to know why he went with the anime theme, but we like it.

It’s a pretty weird video to watch in parts, but aren’t most music videos now?
We’d say the video best captures the aggressive rap mood brought out by Megan herself, who delivers lines intensely, showing us all her skills, not caring what anyone thinks – if there’s one thing that’s true about Megan Thee Stallion and her music videos, it’s that she definitely doesn’t care what people think.
