Trump Rally Gunman Seen Opening Fire & Getting Killed Seconds Later in New Video

A gunman at a Trump rally was caught on camera opening fire into the crowd before being fatally shot by return fire, and TMZ has the exclusive video.

We’ve obtained an incredible clip showing the moment the gunman opened fire at the Butler, PA rally on Saturday. The footage captures the shooter on a rooftop, aiming and firing into the crowd below, causing immediate panic and chaos.

The shooter, identified by his long brown hair and wearing a grey shirt and khaki pants, is seen carefully aiming through a scope or iron sights. The crowd below begins to scream and scatter as bullets start to fly.

Once the shots ring out, you can hear people screaming and scrambling for cover. Moments later, the video captures incoming gunfire targeting the shooter. The gunman is struck and falls, lying motionless on the roof.

The cameraman, Michael Difrischia, pans back to the gunman after the retaliating shots. The gunman is clearly lifeless, and someone off-camera comments, “That’s exactly why we need f***ing Trump here.”

In terms of what led up to this, Difrischia tells us he and his wife, Amber, were watching the Trump rally from outside the main grounds near some trees with about 30 to 40 other people. Amber noticed the shooter climbing onto a nearby building.

The shooter shimmied up, then crawled to his final position on the roof, rifle in hand. Despite people noticing him and trying to alert the authorities, he managed to line up his shot and open fire.

The gunman was met with almost immediate return fire, killing him. Other onlookers captured the aftermath, showing his lifeless body.

There is still no word on the identity or motive of the shooter, but the incident is being investigated as an attempted assassination. Miraculously, Trump survived with only a nick to his ear. Secret Service quickly pounced on him and whisked him away. Despite the injury, Trump defiantly pumped his fist in the air as blood dripped from his ear.

Trump was taken to a hospital, treated, and is in stable condition. He issued a statement afterward, thanking law enforcement and condemning the attempt on his life.

Eyewitness accounts align with this narrative. According to the BBC, people saw the shooter and tried to raise the alarm, but he still managed to get shots off at the former President before being taken down.

Scary stuff, indeed.
