Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo broke down in tears after seeing his mom crying in the stands following his penalty miss against Slovenia in the Euro 2024 round of 16.

The former Real Madrid star missed the chance to put Portugal ahead in extra time, but the team later won the match via a penalty shootout.
During a team pep talk from boss Roberto Martinez, the Portuguese captain completely broke down after looking up towards the stands and seeing his 69-year-old mom, Dolores Aveiro, in tears.
In the shootout between the two nations, Slovenia missed all three of their penalties, while Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, and Bernardo Silva all scored to help Portugal advance to the next stage.
