Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch, 93, has tied the knot for the fifth time in a ceremony at his Californian vineyard. Murdoch married Elena Zhukova, 67, a retired Russian biologist, on Saturday, June 1.

Photos released by UK Sun, owned by Murdoch, show the couple at his vineyard in Bel-Air, California, where the wedding took place. Zhukova is the mother of Russian-American art collector Dasha Zhukova, the former wife of Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.
Murdoch has been a prominent figure in the media industry, leading Fox Corporation and News Corp for decades. These companies include outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, and Fox News. Last November, he announced his step back as chairman of both organizations, passing the leadership to his son, Lachlan. However, Murdoch continues to hold an active role as chairman emeritus of both companies.
This marriage follows Murdoch’s previous union with former supermodel Jerry Hall, which ended in divorce in 2022. He was briefly engaged to Ann Lesley Smith in March 2023, but the engagement was called off two weeks later.
Murdoch and Zhukova began dating last summer and announced their engagement in March. The couple’s wedding marks a new chapter in Murdoch’s storied life and career.
