JAY-Z, who was there to support Vinicius Jr., a player signed to his Roc Nation Sports management company, was seen greeting the Brazilian star before the match. After the final whistle, JAY-Z posed for a celebratory selfie with Vinicius Jr., who proudly displayed his winner’s medal. They were joined by JAY-Z’s longtime friends and business partners “OG Juan” Perez and Jay Brown.
Vinicius Jr. joined Roc Nation Sports in July 2023, following Roc Nation’s acquisition of Brazilian soccer agency TFM Agency. The collaboration highlights Roc Nation Sports’ growing influence in the world of soccer.
JAY-Z has previously shown interest in acquiring a stake in English Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur, but no purchase has been made. His support for sports continues to be a significant part of his business ventures, even without a major sports team ownership since selling his stake in the Brooklyn Nets in 2013.
