Kenyan vernacular gospel musician and Groove Award Winner who was born and grew up in Bahati, Nakuru County, Phyllis Mbuthia is back with a new song tagged, Riria Úkanoga.

“Riria Úkanoga” by Phyllis Mbuthia is a soulful gospel song that draws inspiration from the biblical story of Isaac’s sons, Jacob and Esau. Released on June 25, 2020, the song carries a message of trust in God and offers hope during uncertain times. The title translates to “When You Get Tired,” suggesting a call to perseverance and faith amidst life’s challenges. Mbuthia’s work prior to this release, “Kirathimo Kimwe” in April 2020, also echoes themes of divine trust and hope.
