Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet Reach Swift Divorce Settlement on Day of Filing

Hollywood actors Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have reached a swift and amicable settlement of their divorce, the same day Bonet filed for the dissolution of their six-year marriage on Monday, Jan. 8.

The details of their agreement, as obtained by Page Six from court documents, reveal that the couple has settled matters concerning the custody of their two children, child support, and spousal support without the need for a court battle. The divorce has been described as “uncontested,” indicating a mutual and cooperative approach to the separation.

Under the terms of their agreement, Bonet, 56, and Momoa, 44, will share joint legal and physical custody of their daughter Lola, 16, and son Nakoa, 15. They have also arranged to cover the children’s living expenses jointly, foregoing formal child support payments. Additionally, both parties have waived their rights to spousal support.

While the divorce proceedings have progressed rapidly, the legal process will not officially declare Momoa and Bonet as single until July, as per the documents.

The “Aquaman” star and the actress announced their split in January 2022 and had been married since October 2017. The quick resolution of their divorce reflects their commitment to a peaceful and private handling of their separation, focusing on co-parenting their children and moving forward respectfully.
