In a sorrowful event, a 28-year-old woman, identified as Nelvin Museti, tragically lost her life after allegedly jumping off the third floor of Ascort Apartments in the Lang’ata area of Nairobi County, Kenya. The incident occurred on the morning of January 14, 2024.

The apartment’s caretaker, Mr. Mwangi, reported the incident to the police, having witnessed the distressing event. Responding officers found Ms. Museti’s body behind the building, with no visible physical injuries, although blood was noted oozing from her nose.
Neighbors and eyewitnesses recounted hearing a loud noise, which led to the discovery of the harrowing scene. The police and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives are now probing into the incident. A police report indicated, “The scene was processed, and the body has been moved to the City Mortuary awaiting post-mortem.”
DCI sleuths are investigating to ascertain whether this was a case of suicide or if foul play was involved, considering the possibility that Ms. Museti may have been killed before the fall.
The news of Ms. Museti’s passing has left friends and family mourning and sharing their condolences on social media.
