Former Assistant to Kris Jenner Shares Behind-the-Scenes Experience and Nightmares About the Kardashians

Kris Jenner’s former personal assistant, Madeline ‘Maddie’ Steitz, recently opened up about her experience working for the Kardashian/Jenner family in a series of TikTok videos. In these videos, shared on December 12, Maddie revealed the intense impact the job had on her, even to the extent of having nightmares about the Kardashians.

Maddie, who worked for Kris from February to April 2022, said, “One thing I do not miss about no longer being Kris Jenner’s personal assistant is how much time I spent thinking about the Kardashians.” She added that the constant preoccupation with the family often led to her dreaming about them, noting, “But that’s just part of being a personal assistant.”

While she expressed her relief at moving on to start her own business, Maddie also acknowledged the limitations in discussing her time with the family due to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). When asked by a fan about when the NDA would expire, she responded in a follow-up video, “It doesn’t expire.”

Maddie highlighted the importance of NDAs in personal assistant roles, emphasizing the need for privacy regardless of whether one is working for celebrities. She also shared insights into adapting to the Kardashians’ luxury lifestyle, including learning how to correctly pronounce designer names like Versace, Gucci, and Goyard, which was quite a shift from her small-town, non-designer background.

Interestingly, Kris Jenner has not directly responded to Maddie’s revelations. However, Kris’s daughter, Khloé Kardashian, shared a screenshot on her Instagram Story of a group text discussing Maddie’s claims. In the chat, Khloé and others, including brother Rob Kardashian, expressed confusion about Maddie’s identity, with Rob asking, “Mom, did she really work for you?” and Khloé writing, “Who is this?” This response indicates that Maddie’s stint as an assistant might not have been widely recognized within the family.
