In an interesting turn of events, rising star Laika recently revealed that Tanzanian artist Harmonize, known for his hit songs and significant presence in the music industry, had flown her out for a music collaboration in Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam.

Laika shared that the connection with Harmonize began in 2020 when he slid into her Instagram DMs. This virtual interaction eventually led to their first in-person meeting in 2023 for a recording session. Stressing the professional nature of their trip, Laika confirmed that the purpose of their meet-up was solely to work on music, and not romantically inclined.
The duo reportedly worked on about three songs during this trip. Laika, known for her popular track ‘Overdose’, expressed her admiration for Harmonize, describing him as “very kind” and “blessed.” She mentioned that Harmonize, being affluent, generously covered the expenses of the trip.
Addressing speculations, Laika clarified that they stayed in separate rooms, maintaining a strictly professional relationship. She also confirmed her single status in an interview with Galaxy TV, highlighting the business aspect of her collaboration with Harmonize.
