The recent Rwanda trip of Bongo sensation, Diamond Platnumz, saw fans raising eyebrows over the notable absence of his son with Hamisa Mobetto, Dylan. The trip included Zari Hassan and Tanasha Donna’s children, leading to a swirl of speculation.

The multi-talented artist, who was in Rwanda for the Trace Awards Gala, addressed this speculation, shedding light on the reason behind the decision. Diamond emphasized the importance of stability in his children’s lives, stating it’s not always feasible to have all his children accompany him on every trip.
“Balancing between my career and fatherhood can be challenging. Not every trip or event is suitable for children. While I had Nillan, Tiffah, and Naseeb Junior with me in Rwanda, Dylan was in school. It’s essential to let them have their routine, and I can’t take them everywhere, as it might disrupt their schedules,” Diamond explained.
The whirlwind trip to Rwanda had fans curious when Diamond shared a video of his time there, with Dylan conspicuously missing. The artist, however, was quick to address the matter and expressed his profound connection to Kenya, mentioning that Naseeb Junior, one of his sons, has Kenyan roots.
“Kenya holds a special place in my heart. It’s practically my second home, and the love and support I’ve received here have been overwhelming. My music has been embraced, and I can’t help but express my gratitude,” Diamond shared with evident emotion.
The Bongo star was a significant attraction at the Tusker OktobaFest held at the Ngong Racecourse grounds. This event, which originated as a Kenyan beer fest, has evolved to become a celebration of the East African essence, bringing together Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and South Sudan.
