Diamond Platnumz made a suggestion that his partner, Zuchu, might be expecting a baby in January. He announced this by promising to release songs throughout the year until the moment she goes into labor.

However, Zuchu has denied these allegations, asserting that she is not pregnant and is not yet ready for motherhood.
“To be honest with you, I’m not planning to have a child right now. There are many things I want to accomplish. One of the most important things for me is to get married before having children. I want to get married first. I believe being a single mother is challenging, raising a child on your own can be difficult, especially when you have a busy career like mine. I want to have a baby when I’m settled and can be there for them.”
She used the example of her mother, the late Taarab singer Khadija Kopa, who was often away from home when Zuchu was a child.
“I was raised by a mother who was also in the music industry, and I used to see her only five times a year when we were in Zanzibar. She was doing her best to provide for us.”
Zuchu expressed her desire to have two children but emphasized that she only wants to have them within the context of marriage.
