Who is Lawrence Bishnoi?

Currently detained at Delhi’s Tihar Jail, Lawrence Bishnoi is a notorious gangster who reportedly possesses assets worth 7.20 crore rupees. Following Anandpal’s encounter, the Police Head Quarter put the jail on high alert, and the Ajmer SP increased security by setting up a police post. Despite these measures, Lawrence Bishnoi, a jailed Punjabi gangster, is believed to be operating his gang using a 4G mobile SIM.

One of the charges against Lawrence is for firing at the residence of a travel agency owner and a doctor in Jodhpur. Like Anandpal, the gangster is an ardent supporter of the Bishnoi community. Although he comes from a family that owns ancestral land worth approximately Rs 7.20 crore, Lawrence’s desire for prominence led him into the world of crime.

Sources indicate that the Bishnoi gang comprises approximately 700 members, including skilled sharpshooters, and that Lawrence Bishnoi has been expanding his criminal empire. Following his public threat to kill the actor Salman Khan in Jodhpur, Bishnoi confronted the police, creating a serious dilemma for the Rajasthan police.
