Magazine, Hayden expressed her excitement about becoming a mother, stating, “I’m so ready to hold my baby girl – I’m going to be a very hands-on mom.” She also expressed her joy in having a daughter first, explaining, “I’m thrilled that I am having a girl first because I feel like I know a lot about raising a strong woman. I feel very empowered myself and I think my daughter will, too.”

Wladimir also shared in the joy and expressed his excitement about the life-changing experience of becoming a parent. In an interview with E News, he stated, “I heard, just recently, somebody said, ‘You don’t know what love is until you have your first baby, then you know what love is.’ So I think I know what love is, but I look forward to getting more knowledgeable about that.”

Hayden began to experience symptoms of postpartum depression and substance abuse after giving birth to her daughter. One year later, in 2015, she voluntarily sought help for her struggles by checking herself into a treatment center twice.

In an interview with Lara Spencer on Good Morning America, she mentioned that it takes some time to recover from a challenging experience, and during that period, one may not feel like oneself. However, women have remarkable resilience, which she finds incredible. According to her, the experience has made her stronger and a better mother because she now values the connection with her child even more.

During her appearance on the Red Table Talk, Hayden discussed her daughter being given to her ex-fiance and shared that initially, it wasn’t a decision made through discussion. Had her ex-fiance approached her and expressed concern for her struggles and suggested that it would be good for their daughter to stay with him for a while, she would have understood and agreed to visit.

Furthermore, Hayden expressed that the way it was done was very distressing, and signing the custody papers was the most heartbreaking thing she had ever experienced. Kaya was only two years old when Hayden gave custody to her ex-fiance, and he ended up relocating to Ukraine.

Hayden Panettiere And Wladimir Klitschko Have Been Co-Parenting

After their separation, it appeared that the couple had reached a cordial agreement regarding their daughter. According to a source, Kaya was primarily with her father and his family in Europe and Florida. Hayden and Wladimir maintained a friendly relationship, and they continued to be a significant part of each other’s lives. Hayden returned to Los Angeles and was exploring her options.

Subsequently, Wladimir Klitschko moved back to Ukraine and raised Kaya with the assistance of his mother. As a result of her daughter being on a different continent, Hayden couldn’t spend as much time with Kaya in person as she would have liked. An insider informed Us Weekly that Hayden understood it wasn’t in Kaya’s best interest to be with her at the moment, and it was a sad situation.

Despite the difficulties, the former couple tried their best to make it work. Hayden would travel to Europe to visit Kaya while Wladimir, who also traveled extensively, took care of her. Even Hayden’s mother, Lesley Vogel, disclosed to the Daily Mail that her daughter would frequently fly to Europe to spend time with Kaya.
