When he was 18 years old, Jai Anmol Ambani completed a two-month summer internship with Reliance Mutual Fund (RMF). During his internship, he learned about company and sector analysis, practical aspects of financial statements, and portfolio creation. He began investing in stocks at a young age and later joined Reliance Mutual Fund in 2014. According to reports, he actively participated in the acquisition of Jaypee Associates’ power assets, with guidance from Reliance Capital CEO Sam Ghosh, who mentored him for a larger role in the Reliance Group.

After two years of training, Jai Anmol Ambani joined the Reliance Capital Board as an additional director on August 23, 2016. His father considered him lucky for the company, as the shares of the company rose by 40% since his induction. In Anil Ambani’s words, “Anmol has brought tremendous luck as the stock price rose by 40% since his induction in the board and has added to the value creation for our shareholders.โ€
