Miles Teller is an American actor born on February 20, 1987. He rose to fame through his feature film debut in the indie drama “Rabbit Hole” (2010) and starring roles in “The Spectacular Now” (2013) and the “Divergent” trilogy (2014-2016), both opposite Shailene Woodley. He received critical acclaim for his role in the 2014 drama “Whiplash” and later starred in “Fantastic Four” (2015) and “War Dogs” (2016).

Miles Teller Early life
Miles Teller was born in Downingtown, Pennsylvania to parents Merry, a real estate agent, and Michael, a nuclear power plant engineer. He has two older sisters, Erin and Dana, and his paternal grandfather was of Russian Jewish descent with ancestry also including English and Irish.
Teller spent his early years in Pennsylvania and Delaware before moving to Florida at the age of twelve. Growing up, he was involved in acting, serving as president of his high school drama club, and playing musical instruments.
He graduated from Lecanto High School and later attended the New York University Tisch School of the Arts where he studied method acting and screen acting. He earned a BFA in drama in 2009. In 2007, Teller was involved in a car accident that left him with multiple scars on his face.

Miles Teller started his career with short films in 2004 and made his major film debut in Rabbit Hole in 2010 after being handpicked by Nicole Kidman. He later starred in the 2011 films Footloose, 21 & Over, and The Spectacular Now opposite Shailene Woodley in 2013. He received critical acclaim for his role as a drummer in Whiplash in 2014 and was nominated for multiple awards.
Teller also starred in the Divergent film trilogy, the reboot of Fantastic Four, and the biographical film War Dogs in 2016. He trained for 5 months to play the role of boxer Vinny Paz in Bleed for This. In 2017, he starred in the biopic films Only the Brave and Thank You for Your Service. Teller appeared in Taylor Swift’s music video “I Bet You Think About Me” in 2021 and starred in Top Gun: Maverick in 2022.
He was initially hesitant to accept the role but was convinced by Tom Cruise, who later discussed the possibility of a sequel with Teller. Teller made his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live in 2022.

Since 2013, he has been in a relationship with model Keleigh Sperry. They were engaged at the Molori Safari Lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa, on August 20, 2017, and were married on September 1, 2019, in Maui, Hawaii.
