Kelechi Iheanacho, who plays for both the Super Eagles and Leicester City, is among the dark horses nominated for the player of the month award.
The Nigerian striker scored two goals and provided three assists in games against Wolves and Tottenham Hotspur. Other players on the list include Bernd Leno of Fulham, Emerson Royal of Tottenham, Manor Solomon of Fulham, and Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa.
