Early life

Keke Palmer was born on August 26, 1993, in Harvey, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. She is the daughter of Larry Palmer and Sharon Palmer, both of whom are former actors. Keke grew up in a Christian household and was homeschooled for most of her childhood.

From a young age, Keke showed a passion for performing, and her parents supported her by enrolling her in acting and singing lessons. She began her career in local theater productions and eventually landed her first film role in “Barbershop 2: Back in Business” at the age of ten.
