Chelsea is looking to prevent Manchester City from recording a fourth successive victory against the Blues for the first time in their history. Our last win against City was our Champions League success in Porto in May 2021.

Against Leeds last week, Erling Haaland scored his 25th goal in 20 appearances, which is the quickest any player has reached 25 goals under Guardiola with top-flight clubs. Lionel Messi needed 28 games to reach that total.

Haaland also became the fastest player to score 20 goals in the Premier League, doing so in 14 appearances. That is seven games quicker than previous record-holder Kevin Phillips, who needed 21. He now has 21 goals, which is the most by any player before the turn of the year in a single Premier League season.

In the same game at Leeds, Ederson reached 150 wins from his 197 games in the Premier League, becoming the quickest player to reach 150 victories in the competition.
