Singer and songwriter Camila Cabello, who has recently made headlines for her visit to East Africa’s largest country, Tanzania, has previously taken the continent by storm with her rendition of Oxlade’s “Kulosa” remix.

The Cuban-born American artist recently announced her arrival in Tanzania on her Instagram account, where she shared a video of herself singing and dancing to the remix, with the caption “Tanzania Asante Sana” (meaning “Tanzania, thank you very much”).
The purpose of her visit, whether for tourism, music projects, or other business ventures, is currently unknown.
Camila is the first major international celebrity to publicly announce her presence in Tanzania in 2023, joining a list of other notable figures such as Ludacris, Jay Z, Beyonce, Kat Deluna, and Rick Ross, who have previously visited the country.
