“BING CHILLING” is an excerpted clip from 2021 made by John Cena while going on Fast & Furious 9’s (F9) promotional tour. The title is a phonetic translation of “bīng qí lín” in mandarin (which means ice cream).
The clip was filmed after John Cena made a controversial opinion and referred to Taiwan as “a country” during the film’s promotional tours on May 8, 2021, instead of a city in a part of China. The opinion sparked outrage in China and actions to boycott the film.
