Nothing beats hearing that classic Indy theme and seeing Harrison Ford don that iconic hat again.
We also get a glimpse of Toby Jones and Phoebe Waller-Bridgesโ respective characters. Waller-Bridge plays the famed archaeologistโs goddaughter.

The fifth instalment of the franchise is set in the 60s, at the very height of the space race. The trailer implies that Fordโs Indy is woefully out of his depth as he brings a whip to a gunfight. While we might not see Indy go to space, the tensions between the US and the Soviet Union provide conflict for the film and presumably give us deliciously evil villains.
The film also brings back John Rhys-Davies as Sallah who was last seen in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade which starred Sean Connery as Indyโs dad. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will also feature a younger Indiana, with a digitally de-aged Ford as seen in the trailer.
The trailer also gives us a first look at Mads Mikkelsen and Antonio Banderas as the filmโs villains.
Ford has famously said that this is his final outing as Indiana Jones and composer John Williams has hinted that he might be retiring soon as well, only amplifying interest in the film and putting a lot of pressure on it to do well. Directed by James Mangold, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is due to arrive on 30 June, 2023.
