Servant (2019)

M. Night Shyamalan has garnered a reputation as one of the more polarizing film and TV show creators of the last few decades. Negating a soft genre approach for thrills and chills of an elevated nature that, truly, only Shyamalan can deliver, the writer-director has collected some devout fans on Apple TV+ with his horror series Servant which premiered back in 2019.

Now entering its swan song run of episodes, the fourth and final season of Servant premieres on Apple TV+ on January 13, 2023. Starring Lauren Ambrose and Toby Kebbel as Dorothy and Sean Turner, a grieving couple who allow a mystical nanny (played by Nell Tiger Free) into their lives with otherworldly consequences to follow.

Little America (2020)

Little America is an episodic adaptation of the Epic Magazine anthological column of the same name. The first season, which landed on Apple TV+ in December 2019, was a big success, and fans of the show have long-awaited a second round of episodes.

All episodes of Little America’s second season will be available to stream on December 9, giving viewers a whole new batch of heartwarming and genre-bending immigration tales.

Puppy Place (2021)

Puppy Place is the kind of show that’s almost impossible to dislike. After all, how could any human turn a blind eye to an adorable, four-legged friend with a baby face? Premiering last October.

The second season of the family-friendly series premieres on December 9 and will once again follow Charles and Lizzie Peterson as they continue to foster some of the cutest onscreen pups the streaming world has ever seen.

Emancipation (2022)

Directed by Antoine Fuqua, Emancipation stars Will Smith as Peter, an escaped slave who sets off on a life-or-death journey to the northern U.S. after fleeing the Louisiana plantation that physically and mentally tortured him.

Based on the true story of Gordon (also known as “Whipped Peter”), the harrowing photographs of the man’s scarred back were used by American abolitionists to prove just how inhumane the slave trade could be. You can watch Emancipation on December 9.
