This time, however, Drake chose Argentina to become the new champion in world soccer over France.
Even though Drake picked the right team, Argentina would have had to win in regulation for the artist to collect $2.75 million after placing his wager in the 1X2 market.
Argentina won in a penalty shootout after extra time and regulation, meaning the official score is considered a draw, making Drake a loser.

Drake, 36, recently lost $1.5 million when he bet on Israel Adesanya to defeat Alex Pereira in a UFC middleweight title fight, fueling the myth that he curses who he selects.

The rapper also plays roulette on Stake and has won $17 million on the live table, according to Casino.
Drake’s reputation for being a bad gambler was debunked by Stake and Casino, who proved he has more wins than losses.

While the Drake curse is a fun story, it’s not all that true, but in the end, it’s not even his money he’s playing with, as the rapper announced an affiliation with Stake.
