With a lot of empty seats inside the Al Thumama Stadium, there are scenes of chaos outside. Al Jazeera’s Seena Khalil, reporting from outside the stadium, says it seems like anyone with a Hayya card is now being allowed to enter the match, with huge crowds running to get in line.

There was a problem reported with the ticketing app at the earlier England-Iran match, but that seemed to be resolved quickly, with fans having problems able to take their seats within a few minutes of kick-off.
