Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz is once again on the news after achieving a new monthly listeners achievement on the streaming giant, Spotify.

Diamond Platnumz, also the CEO of WCB has recently clocked 2 Million Monthly Listeners on Spotify, making him the leading artist in Tanzania. The record was formerly held by the award-winning singer Harmonize. The smash hit Jugni which he was featured in by Diljit Dosanjh has greatly contributed to this achievement.
Apart from Spotify, Diamond Platnumz is also the most viewed African artist on YouTube, and on the Chinese-owned Boomplay, the award-winning singer is the most streamed Tanzanian artist of all time.
Other Tanzanian artists with the most Spotify listeners on Spotify include Harmonize, Rayvanny, Marioo, Loui, Zuchu, and Jux.
