Talented Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems received a total of four nominations for the US-based American Music Awards.

This is a new record for a Nigerian artist as the singer received nominations in top categories and with collaborations as well.
Tems, who was also nominated for the MTV Europe Music Awards, and BET Awards, has increased the total of her international awards by a far margin.
Here are the categories the singer was nominated for: Collaboration of the Year, Favorite Afrobeats Artist, Favorite R&B Song, Favorite Hip-Hop Song.
