Karim Benzema presented the Ballon d’Or to the Santiago Bernabéu crowd prior to kick-off in Saturday’s game against Sevilla.

The Frenchman posed with his award out on the pitch alongside the rest of the starting eleven in the LaLiga match 11 encounter.
In a video posted on Twitter, the Ballon d’Or was presented to the 34-year-old by former winners Zinedine Zidane and Luka Modric.
Benzema deservedly saw off competition from Sadio Mane, Kevin De Bruyne, and Robert Lewandowski to win the world’s best player crown.
Vinicius Junior was named in the Ballon d’Or top ten standings 2022, along with Croatia midfield maestro Luka Modric.
Benzema and Courtois were hot favourites to claim the awards after their outstanding 2021/22 season.
