Zlatan Ibrahimovic will star in the upcoming French action and comic movie Asterix and Orbelix: The Middle Kingdom. The Sweden and AC Milan forward dropped a video of himself in the action packed movie as he whipped the enthusiasm of his fans before it drops in winter.
The 40-year-old is recovering from an injury that has kept him out since the start of the season, but in the video, Ibrahimovic was dressed like a Roman Emperor set for war.
Ibrahimovic is revered on the pitch for his footballing exploits and it looks like he is now delving into movies at the twilight of his career.
The ex-Paris Saint Germain player has never hidden his desire to venture into movies and Asterix and Orbelix: The Middle Kingdom, could be the first of many. His character in the movie is Caius Antivirus. The movie will be released on February 1, 2023.
