Singer Kevin Bahati is seeking to unseat incumbent Mathare MP Anthony Oluoch in the August poll. While captioning the cryptic photos, he noted he will be the next MP of Mathare, saying it is his home.

Bahati has been hitting the ground to urge Mathare constituency electorates to vote him in as their next Member of Parliament (MP) in the forthcoming general election.
One of the photos depicted him jumping over a pile of trash in the open sewage as a group of residents looked on.
By this, Bahati was trying to show the locals that he is one of them and understands what it takes to live in the slum. In his caption, he expressed confidence that he will be the next MP of Mathare.
“Incoming MP Mathare!!! Mathare ndio home,” he wrote.
