In his remarks, President Dr. Mwinyi commended the readiness of the artists of the “Nany Festival” for coming to Zanzibar and performing the show which he said is a comfort as the exhibition will continue to promote Zanzibar more.
He expressed his satisfaction with the move and said that he will continue to work with the artists and whenever possible the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar will be ready to provide the necessary support to promote Zanzibar and uplift the talents of its artists especially considering that Mainland artists have already made great strides. in the same music industry.
President Dr. Mwinyi said that despite the existence of many concerts in Zanzibar but also the holding of such concerts “Nandy Festival” is an opportunity to develop concerts as the goal is to have many concerts where within all 12 months there will be concerts and after that, every month is well there should be even two concerts.
