Bradley Cooper is an American actor, director, and producer. He was born on January 5, 1975, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Germantown Academy, where he was involved in theater and sports, and later graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in English.

Cooper began his acting career in the late 1990s, with small roles in television shows and movies. He gained wider recognition in 2005 with his role in the comedy film Wedding Crashers and later starred in The Hangover trilogy and Silver Linings Playbook, which earned him his first Academy Award nomination.
