White chocolate Oreo cheesecake is a variation of the traditional no-bake Oreo cheesecake that incorporates white chocolate into the recipe. Here is a basic recipe for white chocolate Oreo cheesecake:
Ingredients:
- 18 Oreo cookies
- 6 tablespoons of melted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 4 oz white chocolate, melted and cooled
Instructions:
- Crush the Oreos in a food processor or in a plastic bag with a rolling pin until they are fine crumbs. Mix the crumbs with melted butter and press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Refrigerate while making the filling.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Slowly fold in the melted and cooled white chocolate.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top. Crush additional Oreos and sprinkle them on top of the cheesecake.
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or until firm. Once set, remove the cheesecake from the springform pan and slice to serve.
Note:
- You can also add a layer of white chocolate ganache on top of the cheesecake before adding the crushed Oreos.
- If you don’t have a springform pan, you can use a 9-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
