Morocco stunned Belgium 2-0 in World Cup Group F on Sunday, with Abdelhamid Sabiri scoring from an audaciously tight angle and fellow substitute Zakaria Aboukhlal adding a second in stoppage time.

Sabiri’s free kick from near the corner flag beat Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois at the near post for the 73rd-minute winner, securing Morocco’s third World Cup victory.
Hakim Ziyech set up Aboukhlal’s goal on the counterattack as Belgium was caught rushing for the equalizer.
Ziyech’s free-kick missed everyone in the penalty area and caught Courtois off guard, giving the North Africans another opportunity to score with the final kick of the first half. However, a VAR review revealed that skipper Romain Saiss had been just slightly offside.
With two games remaining, Morocco has four points, while Belgium has three. Later on Sunday, there is another Group F match between Canada and Croatia.
