STunts (KICK) have somehow proved to be useful in the promotion of music projects for artists in Tanzania. Before releasing a song or a music video an artist would formulate a stunt, some sort of a scandal to have all eyes on them, it can range from having an affair with a fellow celeb, a heartbreak, or even faking their own death.

However useful these stunts may be in catching the public eye and increasing viewership in artists’ projects, they sometimes backfire in real life of a person whose circle may not really catch on the industry work about these staged fabricated stories in seeking attention.
Lulu Diva has opened up on how the stunt of hers with a WCB artist Lava lava cost her a relationship. Lava Lava was about to release a song begging his lover for forgiveness, so Lulu had to act like she broke his heart like the two were in a relationship but Lava Lava messed so he was trying to win her heart back.
The mistake that Lulu diva did is that she didn’t notify her boyfriend about the staged story, so when the stunt hit the media and went viral it caused panic in the boyfriend who eventually left her a long message.

Lulu Diva says no matter how hard she tried to explain the scenario to her boyfriend, he just couldn’t buy it and finally, she had to accept and move on.
