It has to be remembered Wizkid in 2017 when he was in his Eko hotel concert, Lagos, he met a 12-year-old rapper, Ahmed and he was impressed by the talent and promised him a contract to Starboy label and 10 million Naira (about $23k).

Years later a Twitter user found a boy in the streets begging for money and rap for strangers.
It came to a huge discussion on why Wizkid didn’t fulfill his promise but his fans defended him saying the boy was given the money but he used it on drugs, Ahmed later went online crying for people to tell Wizkid to fulfill his promise because if he did he wouldn’t be begging on streets and it’s hard for him because people think he has been given the money.
Wizkid met Ahmed later and made another promise to send him to school and pay his fees after Ahmed apologized to him.
Now remaining a year for Ahmed to finish his Secondary education, he came again online, through Insta story crying that Wizkid told him he wouldn’t be paying for his school fees again.
According to Ahmed he doesn’t know what he did but he is grateful for what Wizkid did to him so far, Ahmed begged for fans to share the story however he said he isn’t trying to spoil Wizkid’s name.
