Rema featuring Jason Derulo, anything to expect?

It’s been a wonderfully full year for the Nigerian young artists and afrobeat music to reach the world.

Today a young artist, singer, songwriter, and performer from Nigeria, Rema, on his Instagram and Tik Tok has posted a video dancing to his song ‘calm down’ together with Jason Derulo.

A post was captioned “so Jason Derulo taught me how to dance today”. It shows that there is actually something coming from them, maybe a calm-down remix or a new song.

It seems the world has started to acknowledge African music to its weight. Lately, last year FireBoy DML had a remix of his song “Peru” with Ed Sheeran, and two weeks ago another remix with hip hop artist 21 Savage.

Not to mention the billboard chat that the top 4 songs were both from Africa, Nigeria in particular.
