Adekunle Gold set to release a new joint
Nigerian highlife singer, songwriter, and graphic designer, Adekunle Kosoko, known professionally as Adekunle Gold has announced that his highly anticipated new single tagged “Mercy” will be dropping this Friday.

In addition, Adekunle Gold had in December 2021 said he would drop a single off his upcoming album early in 2022 and followed up with a confirmation that the single would be arriving in January.
The ‘AG Baby’ hitmaker has already said the single is titled ‘Mercy’ and recently took to his social media pages to share some background about it.
In a post on his official Instagram account, Adekunle Gold shared vocals to the upcoming single and said he started writing it in September 2021.
“9/20/2021 – the day I started writing Mercy… I knew that day that God had blessed me with another one. #Mercy out this Friday,” the singer captioned a short video shared on Instagram.
‘Mercy’ is a single housed in Adekunle Gold’s upcoming album ‘Catch Me If You Can’ #CMIYC. The album has been scheduled for release on February 4, 2022.
It will be Adekunle Gold’s fourth album, following up on ‘Afro Pop Vol. 1 that he released in 2020 which housed some popular hits among them ‘Something Different’ and ‘AG Baby’ featuring Trinidadian singer Nailah Blackman.
