Earlier in 2024, while visiting Germany in March, IShowSpeed purchased his first mechanical dog for $50,000. But, eager for an upgrade, he decided to double down and invest in a more advanced model, revealing the new robot to his viewers on September 8.
“This thing can be dangerous,” Speed cautioned, as he unboxed the new gadget. He explained that any testing would need to take place outdoors and in a controlled environment.
Determined to show off his latest acquisition, IShowSpeed bragged that he was among the first in the U.S. to get his hands on the Chinese-made, fire-shooting robot dog. With firefighters on standby and wearing fire-resistant gear, he set the stage for an outdoor demonstration by his pool.
However, the high-tech pooch had a few surprises in store. After some initial hiccups with getting the robot to respond, which had Speed questioning whether he had been “scammed,” the dog finally sprang to life.
But the fun quickly turned to chaos when, instead of barking on command, the robot unexpectedly unleashed a burst of flames. The fire-resistant pants Speed was wearing briefly ignited, prompting him to dive into the pool to douse the flames.
“Goddammit!” he shouted as the robot dog turned to face him in the water, firing another flame dangerously close to his face. Speed quickly scrambled out of the pool, calling out for the robot to be turned off before it could cause more trouble.

“No more of that,” he declared, telling viewers that he would no longer stand directly in front of the device and insisted on maintaining at least a five-foot distance for safety.
With the unexpected turn of events, it’s clear that IShowSpeed’s latest purchase has proven to be more than just a toy, adding a literal spark to his content creation journey.
