Thomas Matthew Crooks, the shooter who attempted but failed to assassinate Donald Trump, had a raunchy and immature sense of humor, as revealed in a newly obtained video by TMZ.

In the clip provided by a former friend of Crooks, he can be seen jokingly bragging about being endowed with 10 inches and claiming to be a 6’4″ student at Stanford. In reality, Crooks was just a 10th grader at the time of the video, shot while he and his classmates were in a computer tech class.
The video was recorded in February 2020 at Steel Center Career and Technical Education in Jefferson Hills, PA, which provides career and technical education to students from various public school districts in Pennsylvania. We have reached out to the school to confirm Crooks’ enrollment but have not yet received a response.
According to the former classmate, Crooks was initially quiet but gradually became more sociable. He was described as cool, friendly, and well-liked by his peers.
Crooks was also known for his exceptional skills in computer technology. He could disassemble and reassemble computers effortlessly, making him one of the most talented students in the class. He also enjoyed playing video games, particularly “Fortnite” and “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege,” both of which are first-person shooter games.
The former classmate noted that Crooks never discussed politics or guns in the classroom, making the news of his assassination attempt on Trump even more shocking.
TMZ obtained footage of Crooks using an AR-15 style rifle from a distance of 130 yards as he positioned himself on a building near the Pennsylvania rally.
During the attack, Crooks wounded the former president, killed one person in the crowd, and injured two others before Secret Service snipers fatally shot him less than a minute later.
Crooks was a registered Republican, and the FBI is still investigating his motive.
