Tanzanian singer Zuchu has finally addressed her reaction to her “friend” Diamond sharing a kiss with Ghanaian star Fantana on a reality TV show. In an interview on Wasafi Media, Zuchu admitted feeling angered by Diamond’s actions, considering it crossed boundaries and was not appropriate for TV.

Zuchu revealed that she was so upset that she even destroyed some property at her boss’ house. She sent a video of the damage to Diamond, who tried reaching out to her through numerous calls, which she initially ignored.
Eventually, Zuchu picked up his calls, even though she usually doesn’t give second chances. She expressed her frustration to him, making it clear that she was not pleased with the situation.
While Zuchu has always denied any romantic involvement with Diamond, the kiss between him and Fantana was a cause of tension between them.
Why Zuchu decided to forgive Diamond
Zuchu later disclosed that she chose to forgive Diamond after he provided her with explanations. She realized that the people closest to you are capable of hurting you the most, even though you cannot imagine living without them.
However, Zuchu made it clear that she does not tolerate disrespect from those she loves.
“I took some time to process the explanations he gave me, but ultimately, I decided to forgive him,” she stated.
In terms of future relationships, Zuchu emphasized that she would not impose restrictions on her partner. To her, true love means allowing both individuals to be themselves freely. If either party feels dissatisfied, they have the option to walk away.

The kiss between Diamond and Fantana on the Netflix reality show “Young Famous and African” caused a huge sensation on the internet. Diamond’s reaction to the kiss left him in awe, expressing that he thought he was the best kisser until he kissed Fantana, who completely swept him away with her passion. The reality show also featured Diamond’s ex-lover, Zari Hassan.
