Shakira and Karol G have collaborated on a new song called “TQG,” which stands for “Te Quedó Grande” and translates to “I’m too good for you.” The phrase was previously used in Shakira’s revenge track, “BZRP Music Sessions #53,” which was believed to be directed at her former relationship with Spanish soccer star Gerard Piqué.

In the new song, the two Colombian artists sing about moving on from an ex and becoming stronger after the breakup, with some digs at their former partner wanting them back.
Karol mentions her previous engagement with Anuel AA, who has since separated from his wife, while Shakira and Piqué announced their separation in June 2022 after 11 years together. “TQG” is part of Karol’s new album, “Mañana Será Bonito,” released on Feb. 24.
