In addition, Feffe Bussi has been in the music industry for close to seven years now. He realized that he wanted to do music in Form five when he started mimicking G.N.L Zamba’s songs. This gave him confidence in music, releasing his first song ‘Summertime’ in 2013, but he was still not popular.
Moreover, His major breakthrough came in 2015, thanks to his hit ‘Nsekula’ which featured already established female artiste Sheebah Karungi from Team No Sleep. In 2016, he released another hit single ‘Yes No’, which endeared him to the Ugandan audience. In 2018, he cemented his position as one of the best rappers in Uganda when he released, ‘Who Is Who’; a song that became such a big deal in the industry, awakening a huge Hip hop movement in Uganda. Many rappers jumped on the beat to explain their talent. Feffe Bussi says he released ‘Who Is Who’ to awaken rappers after he realized that Ugandan Hip hop was losing popularity to dancehall music.
