Nigerian Afropop singer, songwriter, actress, and Effyzzie Music Group serial hit song maker and Afro-Pop diva, Yemi Alade has just dished out a new impressive record titled “Shekere”.

“Shekere” is a vibrant collaboration between Nigerian Afro-pop artist Yemi Alade and the legendary Beninese singer Angélique Kidjo, featured on Alade’s album “Woman of Steel” released on August 30, 2019. The song, produced by DJ Coublon, is an Afro pop genre track that lasts for 3 minutes and 6 seconds. It was a product of two years of effort and was inspired by Kidjo’s desire to remix her hit song “Wombo Lombo” with Alade, who has cited Kidjo as a major inspiration from her childhood.
